Portant Portant Docs

Create your first Copper workflow

Once the Copper integration is installed, you can build a workflow from inside an opportunity. This page covers connecting Copper to Portant, adding a document, and giving the workflow a clear name.

Open Portant from a Copper opportunity

Open any opportunity in Copper. The Portant integration appears in the right-hand panel:

Click Create Workflow. A new tab opens in Portant with the start of a workflow.

Connect Portant to Copper

You only need to do this once. Click the Copper block:

Click Connect Copper to Portant:

Approve access:

Once it's connected, the Copper block will say "Copper is connected":

Add a document to the workflow

Click the plus button to add the next block:

Pick a document or email:

Insert Copper fields into the template using tags. For more on building tags, see the tags overview.

You can also add tags to the output file name so each document is named after the opportunity:

Name the workflow

Give the workflow a clear name. This is what you'll see in Copper when picking which workflow to run.

Next, generate your first document from Copper.
