A CRM is only reliable if the data in it is reliable, and the data is only reliable if nobody has to retype it. Every design decision we make starts from that rule, and most of the broken HubSpot portals we are asked to fix broke because someone ignored it.

I'm Jonathan Gunt, founder of Gunt Consulting. We are a HubSpot Platinum Solutions Partner based in Stuttgart, Germany. I spent eight years in CRM consulting, on SAP first and then HubSpot, before starting the firm, and that background shapes how we work: end-to-end implementation, automation and system architecture, with the rigour of enterprise CRM and the speed of HubSpot. This is a short introduction to who we help and how we think.

Who we help

Our clients are B2B teams in business services, consulting and advisory, ecommerce, marketing services and real estate, across the DACH region, wider Europe and North America. They arrive in one of two states. Some are launching a new HubSpot portal and want it built properly the first time. Others already have a portal that has grown messy, with duplicate properties, workflows nobody dares to switch off and reports that disagree with each other.

Both get the same outcome: a clean HubSpot environment the business can trust, tailored to how the team actually works rather than how the software was sold.

How we think about HubSpot

A new portal goes through the full arc. Process discovery first, because you cannot automate a process nobody has written down. Then solution design, implementation and training. Then a dedicated hyper-care phase after go-live, when we stay close to the users, fix what the first weeks of real use surface and tune the system before handing it over fully. Most problems with CRM adoption show up in week three, not in the kickoff meeting, so we plan to be there in week three.

An existing portal starts with a structured system audit. We map what is there, find the bottlenecks, simplify the data model and remove what is not earning its place. Integrations get rebuilt where they are fragile, workflows get consolidated, and the team gets a system that is smaller and does more.

Where Portant fits

Documents are part of the architecture, not an afterthought. A clean data model degrades the moment someone opens a quote template and starts typing, because now the price in the document and the price on the deal can drift apart, and nobody knows which one the customer saw.

Portant keeps the two in sync. We set up templates and workflows that generate quotes, contracts and onboarding paperwork directly from HubSpot records, send them for signature and file the finished document back on the record. It is the same rule applied to the last step: if the data already exists, nobody retypes it. For the teams we work with, that removes a whole class of errors and a lot of quiet rework.

Where to find us

If you are about to launch HubSpot and want it built once, properly, or you have a portal that has stopped being trusted, we should talk. Find us at gunt-consulting.com, on our Portant partner page, or through our HubSpot Solutions Partner profile. To see the document layer in product terms first, the Portant + HubSpot integration page walks through it.

Clean data, reliable system, no retyping. That is the whole method.
