HubSpot doesn't fail because of HubSpot. It fails because the people running the business were never asked how the work actually happens.

I'm Noelle Woodhead, founder and CEO of 21b Consulting. We're a HubSpot Solutions Partner based in Cleveland, Ohio, working with franchise, field service, and transport and logistics operators across the US. This is a quick introduction to who we help and how we think about the job.

Who we help

Most of our clients run businesses where compliance is non-negotiable, the workforce is partly in the field, and growth lives or dies on consistency across locations. Franchise networks tired of every unit running a slightly different playbook. Field service teams losing hours to scheduling, dispatch, and paperwork. Transport and logistics operators trying to hold margin while routes, fuel, and regulations all move at once.

By the time the call comes in, the team has usually bought the tech. HubSpot is in. So are three or four other systems. Nothing talks to anything else, the dashboards disagree, and the people on the trucks and in the stores have quietly gone back to spreadsheets. Our job is to put one operating system on top of the chaos.

How we think about HubSpot

We didn't start as implementers. We came up running operations inside the same industries we now serve, 25+ years of it, which is why we're picky about the engagements we take on. If we haven't lived a problem, we don't pretend to solve it.

Every project starts with the team, not the tech. We map where the day actually breaks, where compliance gets risky, and where managers are doing work HubSpot should be doing. Then we design a system the field will use, not just one the executive team will demo. People first, strategy that scales, execution that holds, cash flow you can see. That order matters. Get it wrong and you get a beautiful CRM nobody opens.

Where Portant fits

Documents are the part of the operation HubSpot doesn't finish on its own. Quotes for the franchisee, service agreements for the field tech, BOLs for the dispatcher, compliance paperwork that has to be right every time. If those are still being copy-pasted out of Word, the system stops being a system at the moment of truth.

Portant is the layer we put on top to close that gap. It pulls straight from the HubSpot fields the team already trusts, generates the document on the spot, and writes the result back to the deal or ticket timeline. Sales and ops don't get a new tool to learn, finance gets one source of truth for what was actually sent, and the document moves at the speed of the data, not the speed of someone's inbox.

Where to find us

If your franchise network is drifting, your field team is fighting the schedule instead of working it, or your HubSpot rollout has stalled at the dashboard, we should talk.

You can find us at 21bconsulting.com, or book a 60-minute Free Scalability Assessment at 21bconsulting.com/contact. If you want to see what the document layer looks like inside HubSpot first, the Portant + HubSpot integration page walks through it in product terms.

Operational clarity, line of sight, accountability. That's the job.
