How to set-up a Trello source?

This article will show you how to set up Trello as a source for Portant Data Merge. Trello is the perfect source if you want to create documents as part of a kanban workflow (or if you have a Trello account).

In this article you’ll learn how to:

  1. Authorise and connect your Trello Account
  2. Select a Trello Board

Authorise and connect your Trello account

After you have selected to connect a Trello source from the 'Home Page' you will need to set it up. Click the Authorize Trello button to connect your Trello account. After you click this button a new window will open that will ask if you would like to grant Portant Data Merge access to your Trello account. After you have reviewed the permissions click Allow to continue. This will connect your Trello account to Portant Data Merge


Note - You may need to log into your Trello account before authorizing, if you don't have an active session.

Select a Trello board

After you have connected your Trello account a list of your Trello Boards will appear in the Select Source page in Portant Data Merge. Select the Board from the list and click Continue to connect it with your template.
